Hello, I have used Paypal for years, mainly for eBay purchases. My Paypal account is as a result, linked to a US$ Mastercard issued by Canadian bank as the primary. Fine most of time because most purchases on Paypal are in USA. But, problems arise when we buy in Canada. For example, - Today I bought an item in Canada for C$120.91 (not on eBay) This amount was converted by Paypal to US$108.71 at an exchange rate of 1.11171. When we come to pay that amount, BMOIL today quote a rate of 1.1582 or a total of $125.90. Overall currency exchange fees about 4.1% for a straight Canadian dollar purchase. Some questions: - I have today added a C$ credit card to my Paypal account - Is there a way to ensure that items bought in Canada will be charged to that account and thus avoid all these currency fees? I looked on Paypal site but couldn't find an answer. - When we buy on eBay.ca, I believe items are priced in US$. When we come to pay, does our Canadian purchase get run through several currency conversions? Any way we can buy Canadian items in Canadian dollars? Thanks I didn't find the right solution from the internet. References: www.financialwisdomforum.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=117692SaaS Promotion
